Every standard utility on devdock.dev executes entirely inside your web browser. When you paste sensitive API keys, decode JSON Web Tokens, format confidential SQL queries, or compress images, zero bytes of that content are uploaded to any server.
To provide ergonomic features such as starred favorites, recent tool history, and unsaved drafts, devdock.dev uses your browser's built-in IndexedDB and localStorage APIs. This data is physically stored on your local disk and cannot be accessed by external origins.
You have full autonomy over this storage. You can inspect it, export it as a JSON archive, or wipe it permanently at any time in Settings.
We use lightweight, non-identifying HTTP cookies (such as devdock_theme and devdock_mode) purely to render your chosen visual theme server-side without a flash of incorrect styling (FOUC). These cookies contain zero personal identifiers.
You don't have to take our word for it. Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12 or ⌥⌘I), switch to the Network tab, paste any string into a tool, and observe: no network requests are dispatched.
